Okay, So I had to reread the first chapter 3 times cause I just woke up and my brain just didnt work with me at all. But lord, do you have a way with words!
Jongin’s voice is like a splash of water colour on hot-pressed paper, where the pigments bloom out of control and the water refuses to settle. Every stroke of the brush herds the colour in tides, an effort that goes for naught when nature inevitably wrests back the reigns. As cobalt blue rages over the surface, it collides with a whirlwind of magenta, and from the tumultuous waves bursts a supernova of violet that reclaims even the furthest reaches of the cosmos.
Are you even real? Like, this is so breathtakingly beautiful!
Also, the smut was great. Nothing in this story felt "rushed" which I think is great. Like seriously, you have a gift and thank you so much for writing this!
That little section you pointed out is probably my absolute favourite! I remember sitting at my laptop for maybe an hour trying to type those first two sentences, editing over and over again. Hearing that you liked it really makes my heart flutter! I'm a little late to the reveal party and am only now able to reply to comments, but I hope you'll find this! I truly appreciate your kind words ♥ They will be motivation for me to write (and publicly post) more often in the future! Thank you so, so, so much for reading ;v;
I remember waking up at nine on the morning after the fic was posted and reading this comment! I wanted so badly to reply and tell you how much I appreciated (and still do) your comment, but I had to wait until reveals!! So here I am now-- Thank you so much for not only reading but also adding a few words ;v; It really makes my day when I go back and re-read all the comments. I'm not entirely sure if white bread could really be poetic, but perhaps I'll take that up as a challenge haha! Thank you again for your kind words ♥ I will remember and look back at them as I continue to write in the future!
Ahh thank you so much! My stuff is scattered all about on different accounts and platforms, but I hope to eventually get it all on this lj soon! Thank you for your lovely words ♥ I will happily read your comment again whenever I feel a little unsure about my writing ;v;
That was beautiful! I don't mind at all that some plot managed to sneak into your pwp. To be honest, I'm not always one for very wordy fics, just because detailed descriptions can sometimes become repetitive or take away from the readability of the story. Don't worry, I didn't feel that way when reading this at all! There was a nice balance between the poetic paragraphs and the more blunt moments. The description of the interior was particularly nice to read. Something about Jongin picking up garbage from the street and trying to give it a second life in his shop made my heart ache, and then you had to go ahead and trample it by adding that part where he half-explains why he does it. Somehow, despite being so extensive in your descriptions, you still left so much between the lines for the reader to ponder. The sex was fine! More intimate than probably would have worked out without the build-up, but really fitting with the overall vibe of the story. This was a great read, really nicely put-together and definitely one of my favorites

"If Kyungsoo had felt like dying before, then now he’s just been sent to the void of the afterlife." This was something I added as a last ditch effort at some humour asdkfl I don't consider myself the strongest at writing humour, so it's an enormous relief to see that you enjoyed that line

This had me crying over the beautiful choice of words. I'm in love with how you describe things and even Jongin and Kyungsoo. You described them like they're a work of art. (Well they are indeed!)
The flow is so natural and I loved the pacing!!! I'm in love. Really. The words are so beautiful. This is really art. Kaisoo is so beautiful. Damn. Damn. Well beautiful is an understatement for this one bc this is gorgeous.
Oxygen is hard to come by, especially when the older of the two refuses to pull away for even a hiccup of a gasp, but he would rather suffer hours of vertigo than halt his appreciation for the person beneath himI loved that Nini is equally smitten with Kyungsoo. They suppressed their feelings for a long time. This is so satisfying. *sobs

Oh dear, no tears here! Have a latte instead, or perhaps some herbal tea, served by Hwayoil's tiniest barista ♥
I can't quite describe how relieved I am to hear that you didn't become sick of all the artsy things! I, personally, enjoyed it so very much, but even while writing this fic, I constantly wondered if I'd ended up pushing it a tad too far. But reading your comment makes me feel much, much better! And the pacing, oh, the pacing! I was so terrified that it would feel too lethargic, as if the story were ambling about, but hearing not only that it felt natural but also that you loved it makes me so happy! The sentence you pulled out from the love scene was something I added on a whim, afraid that readers wouldn't feel that Jongin really was just as enamoured with Soo as Soo was with him, so my joy has been doubled (tripled, even!) knowing that you liked it ;v
