I also always assume that those are the best kind of shindigs-- especially if you have friends who help clean up and don't do dick moves like throwing up places etc etc. YOU ALWAYS GO TO BED IN YOUR OWN BED AND THAT IS AWESOME.

Yayyyy, glad you like the tuuuuuuuunes! DCook has a pretty swell voice, though he does have an enormous head and I feel weird about his looks sometimes. But that voiiiiiice! He also did a pretty sweet cover of Alice in Chains "Man in the Box" and I like his version of "Anodyne" that was originally sung by the actual singer of his old band the Mid-Western Kings.

AND YESSS FLORENCE + THE MACHINE ARE SO FUCKING FANTASTIC. I get serious chills every time I listen to "Cosmic Love", ngl. THAT SONGGGG. Also, this version of "My Boy Builds Coffins" is kind of great. I saw a most brilliant SPN vid set to it as well, ahhh <33

Dude, I totally feel you re: clubbing/partying/whatever it is us wild and crazy younguns are supposed to on weekends. I haaaaaaate the smell of smoke and the general sweaty B.O. that accumulates from really crowded areas. I'm a total music snob so there's no club on earth that'll ever play the music that I enjoy. And while I like alcohol, I hate paying obscene amounts of money for it and I REALLY hate feeling tipsy (let alone DRUNK).

And yeah, walking home alone late at night ANYWHERE is always kinda freaky. Even in Tokyo, which is a really safe city, I avoided staying out too late 'cause walking home I'd have to go down really quiet, dark streets x_x

My ideal Friday night is chillin' on the couch with a couple of friends in comfy clothes, watching TV or movies and sharing snacks.

Oh man, I wish more people in my immediate circle of friends would think the saaaaaaaaaame. And seriously, I don't mind when people smoke-- as long as it's somewhere with sufficient ventilation and I'm sitting somewhere waaay upwind from them. The smell of cold/stale smoke is seriously one of the most disgusting things everrrr. Smoking in clubs, or EVEN BETTER: ON THE FUCKING DANCEFLOOR is one of the biggest asshole things ever though. I've had friends who've been burnt that way or had marks on their outfits. UGHHH. Lol the movies/TV do always make clubbing look more fun than it often is-- and I reckon it really is because you just can't SMELL how it is XDD

It's just unbelievably creepy D: And again, probably another thing that we girls have had drilled in us to be extra super careful about :||.
