I got very frustrated as I tried (unsuccessfully) to work on my thesis yesterday. Every point I started to write, I thought, "I need to address this other point first." So I'd start to write that, and then find, "I need to address the first point first." The chicken and the egg. And though I stayed at my computer for 2 hours, I didn't have anything

Have you ever read The Queen's Throat by... I think it is spelled "Koestenbaum"? I'm reading it for my music&sexuality class, and though I'm only about 40 pages in, there's a ton of really interesting concepts about the voice and... lots of things, like emotion, and "opening up", and being hetero vs homo sexual. I'm really enjoying it thus far.
