While watching the fireworks last night I thought to myself, "Perhaps one day I'll look back upon 2006 as the year that I started really making new and wonderful things happen in my life."

Perhaps I will look back on it that way...it's been a pretty good day so far.

Thinking back on last January, I was at an entirely different place than I am now. For all of my high school failings, I feel like each year I more or less re-invent myself. Which is exciting, no?

I definitely feel like I'll remember 2005. So let's see about 2006.
