What is so funny?

Wonders if there is some human joke he has missed.

I still wonder why the tree and bush have flesh? What sort of plants are these anyway.

OOC: just for a heads up on Kailin this would be late season 5 (Post Day of the Dead) time frame.

I'm not quite sure, though sometimes the interiors of leaves are known as "flesh".

That's good cause Roger showed up originally around the season 4 timeline and has been there for over a year at this point.

Furrows his brow.

That doesn't seem to explain the "Flesh of a dead briar".. I assume a dead plant would be leafless.

Then there is a good chance that Roger would know both that Kailin is a Ranger (the first Centauri Ranger he actually fought in the Shadow War.) and that he is courting Mariel... Rumors.. you know.

Not only the potion outcome but Mariel is a dead plant and Kailin is a live one which is also wierd.

Reads this and can't help but smile.

I don't knwo how accurate this is but from a personal perspective I think the metaphor speaks a certain truth.

With a smirk.

They could have picked a better color though.

She smiles in agreement.

I tend to agree...Maybe red would be better? Or perhaps purple?

Hmm.. I was thinking more of a grey or pale blue myself. I am not much for reds or purple.
