Parakeet sunsetsinger8 August 8 2006, 04:54:22 UTC
I know how it got there.

A couple weeks ago... two maybe, I was working in the chapel for mass and at the end of mass this wild parakeet flew in the window, and went up into the choir loft, but it wouldn't come out. So I waited as long as possible but it didn't come back down and I had to close the windows and leave so we figured it would stay up in the loft, and just die, so we told the maintenance guy about it and he's been trying to find it, but we never heard anything so we thought maybe it got back out and we just didn't see it. But that's really sad that it was found dead behind a computer.

Anyway, That's the story behind that finding.

Wow. I didn't even know we had wild parakeets around here. It's too bad it died. :( At least we found it before it started to smell, I guess...

Ack, I knew you were going to ask that. It wasn't you. Never is you, my dear. (I totally just typed "deaf" instead of "dear". And just did it again. Hello hands, this is brain speaking...) But yeah, not you. I'm biking to the park, apparently. My parents and brother are taking the car to go pick up his senior pictures (all three of them...moral support?).

Btw, check your gmail account, 'cuase I just emailed you.

I'll probably work better with your fancy cable, than my completely inferior dial up.

I worried about the teeth yanking too (remember? Right before Christmas?) but it's really not too bad. I think it was worse leading up to it, wondering and freaking out about being put under for awhile. And then of course, I drooled blood on Jory, but he didn't care, and hugged me with mashed potatoes all over my face. That's when I knew he's a keeper. :o)

Warm thoughts your way on that day!
