Ahh, back. The hiking trip into the woods extended a little longer than I previously planned.

I'm going to go collapse into bed and sleep it off. Thanks for covering me, Ryuhou. I'll be back to work tomorrow night.

Thanks.

[Private to Kurogane]

Listen.. I'm sorry for how much of a pain in the ass I'm sure I was. I can't really give you more than that, but. For what it's worth.

We should spar sometime. Feels like it's been forever.

You were less of a pain in the ass than that guy was >_> It's over and done with.

It has been a while. I'm ready whenever you are.

Don't blame Fai. We were both under that spell. -sounds strangely hesitant about that, though.- This has been hard on all of us.

Tomorrow sound good?

!

...you're back?

^.^ I was just about to leave to help Sora look for you.

*warm smile* And of course, you can come chat with me anytime ^.^ Come down to the kitchens whenever you want to and I'll make something too.

Hey. -soft smile.-

Oh, you were going to come look for me? -rubs the back of his neck, chuckling awkwardly.- Whoops. I guess I lost track of time. I didn't mean to make anyone worried about me. I just needed some time to think.

Ah ... the kitchens. -doesn't sound too keen on that.- I meant privately, Fai. -says bluntly.-

Let's meet by the lake instead, alright? When you get off work.

I was starting to wonder if you'd disappeared like people do around here sometimes. I wanted to confirm if you were still in this world or not. But, I'm glad you had your time to think.

Ah... ^.^ That's fine. I'll see you there then.

Ah, true ... I didn't think about that. Next time I'll leave a note, I promise.

Comforting, is the best word I can think of. As much as I like it here, part of me just wants to get away sometimes. I feel as if I was a bit of a loner before.

Heard you're the new science teacher. How's the working out? I'd like to sign up for the class, if you don't mind. Not a big fan of school, I don't think, but something tells me you'd be good at it.

In order to appreciate the company your with, you sometimes have to be away from it, huh?

*grins at the compliment* Well, come to my class and then decide that... I'm really just as knowledgeable as everyone else here, what with none of my memories back. But... something about the subject just seems to click with me, and I enjoy teaching it.

Sounds wise enough. -smiles.-

Well, from what I've seen, things like facts and knowledge about subjects seem to remain with people. The only kind of memory loss everyone always has is personal memories of their own history. I still remember quite a lot of things I'm guessing I learned in school -- school subject-related facts. And I knew how to use a sword from the off, so I think it's safe to say you'll be surprised at how much you know once you actively use it.

It was no trouble for me to cover for you, but I'm glad to see you back. Was your trip... good?

Relaxing, yeah. I feel a lot better. You should try it sometime.

I might do that. Did you find anyplace interesting?

Just a lot of nature. Did spot a mountain goat once I started to get higher up in the mountains. I don't think I've ever seen one before.
