Yesterday was a lazy day.  We had dim sum, played card games, and went on a failed trip to Jacques Cabaret which was supposed to be a drag show, but it was disappointing.  Today, we saw Inglorious Basterds.  It was AWESOME.  I found out that Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, and REI are all next to the movie theater so I can go there when i need stuff ( Read more... )

So...I just finished watching Hotel Rwanda for my 7 deadly sins class.  It is an amazing, touching movie.  I wanted to cry the entire time.  What sucks, though, is that according to the real life Paul Rusesabagina, the violence in the movie was toned down even though the rest of the story was very close to what really happened.  I really cannot ( Read more... )

I just saw Twilight.  I thought it was awesome.  I loved it.  It was hilarious.  Laugh out loud hilarious.  I'm not going to lie, some parts were just ridiculous, but I thought it was good.  I had so much fun with it.  I couldn't stand that all the shots were close up, though.  That bugged me.   The cameraman needed to take like 4 steps back.  Can' ( Read more... )
