Packing out all the boxes wasn't as hard or as long as i thought it was going to be.  My room isn't cluttered and everything has a place.  I'm a little flabbergasted.  All i need now is some shelves.  Also, it turns out i have one more closet than i originally thought which means more room.  Renzo and i got a really late start today, but everything

omg this makes me laugh so much. You guys didn't ask if there was any other places that cheese might have been?

So everything really is within walking distance then? It sounds like youre able to do alot of exploring without a car! Which after living in Miami and Orlando is a completely new concept to me.

of course we didn't ask if cheese was elsewhere. The cheese should have all been together. The cheese we did find the first time was in two different places anyway. Who knew there'd be a 3rd?

Everything necessary to life is within walking distance. The chinese supermarket is 2 blocks down and the supermarket is the next block over. It is also a VERY large supermarket. Everything is very closely packed together so anything i really need should be right here. If anything, the T is 2 blocks away too and that will take you to most of the places that are too far to walk. Target, however, is a little ways away walking and no T stops there so that's when you get a zipcar. See next post.

the getting around everywhere by walking was unfathomable to me too till i moved here and did it. it's something you've just got to experience.

I am so happy youre updating your lj. I am excited to read everything! Make sure you have some sort of self defense system. Better yet get two. Some Pepper Spray, maybe some brass knuckles. OK I think brass knuckles are hard to find so maybe you can get some sort of whistle or extra pepper spray. IDK how safe the streets of Boston are after dark and I want you to be protected!

I've got to work on the defense system. Right now, all i've got is the boy. i'll have to see where they sell pepperspray. It's a good thing you reminded me because i totally forgot.
