Every time I see this commercial on tv I think it's oddly inappropriate. It's children eating hot dogs in slow motion with a love song playing. Like you just know there's some pervert out there watching it on an endless loop and getting off. *shudders*

Creepy doesn't even begin to cover it. *shudders*

Also, hello! In a time where way too many of our kids are already overweight (and I mean the serious health risk kind of overweight) is it really a good idea to connect Hot Dogs with love?! o.O

Erm, what does "specially made for children" mean anyway?

Totally!

Now the "specially made for children" thing I'm not too sure about. I know there was a thing awhile back where the news was saying that the shape/diameter of hotdogs (plus the fact that they are a food very frequently fed to kids) made them like the worst offender in food related choking incidents in children. Apparently there was a study where they took emergency room info and declared hot dogs the worst offender by far.

I'm not sure but maybe these top dogs have been altered based on that finding (different diameter/consistency) to make them safer...

You know what, probably not, LOL. I think they're trying to imply that they are a more "healthy" hot dog by saying they are for kids. (There's that whole effect where people assume foods made specially for kids/babies are more healthy - oddly there was an article specifically about this concept on yahoo today).
