... So, let's see. Ahiru offers criticism on Fakir's sword, he gets all defensive but says he isn't mad, and then he kicks her out of his bedroom walks her home. There is absolutely nothing at all I could read into that. Nothing.
...*high-friggin-fives*
And yes. I did see that parallel in the show. But I usually think up things that often don't exist, so I dunno. May just be my imagination. XD;;
... I still feel like there were so many other things I could have pointed out about that little scene. Like how it happens with the bed between them, or how even if you filter out certain ... suggestive elements, it still sounds remarkably like a lovers' spat. xD
I didn't even think about it until this watch through, after I'd written that little note about this being the Ahiru meta episode. And then I noticed that Hermia is really a lot like Ahiru, and Lysander could be a parody of Fakir .... And I'm often reluctant to believe there are any accidents in Princess Tutu. It kinda makes me want to go back and watch the whole episode again, just to carefully track the Lysander/Hermia/Mytho.
So, if we both see it, I say it just means we are geniuses. *nods*

Well, THERE'S a scene that's been ruined for me forever. Thanks. XD
I know everyone already mentioned this, but I had as well. >>serika_sanSeptember 16 2009, 19:22:16 UTC

...You know, there are VERY few scenes that haven't been completely twisted to me by now, but that was (oddly enough) one of them that hadn't been. AND NOW IT SO IS. XDDD
I was just sitting there watching it, and then I said to myself, "... Wait a sec. I feel like I missed something." So I went back and replayed the scene, and then I said to myself, "Why is my pervert alarm going off?" So I watched it again. And that was what I came up with.
Though, as I said to Sammie, even if I'm not wearing my pervert hat, it still feels more like a lovers' spat than their usual tiffs. xD
