What do you mean by token? A maker's token for the tunics, or a friendship/attachement token? These are different things. Do you have a sigil or mark that you use on your scribeworks?
We got a hood (Chuck), a couple tunics (Chuck) and a purse (Morgan) together for Morgan, and have cloth for a couple of undertunics to go with tings, so he'll be well dressed for Pennsic.

I was thinking a friendship or family attachment token of some sort. Would he be carrying his mother's arms somewhere? Surely he could find something of hers to carry. Would it be on a scarf or something? Should I send some token of mine too? I have my arms, or perhaps something else.
I'm glad you guys are helping him. It looks like he's well cared for.
If this is for Morgan, then you could make him a favor to wear that shows that you are proud of him, support him in his endeavors, and trust his honor and judgment as if they were your own. It has a lot of meaning, and should only be given to one for whom the feelings are mutual and understood.
A favor is appropriate for a family member or a good friend. However for a friend, it is important that you are clear that it is a friendship gift, and if they have a significant other, then it needs to be agreed upon by all three prior to exchanging such an important gift.
A favor would be handmade or hand decorated by you. It could be a belt pouch or token to hang on a belt, or, for a fighter, it could be a scarf or band.

So would a little band with my arms on it be appropriate? He's my grand-son, so it's family.
