I'm just glad you're okay. It did occur to me you hadn't posted for a while and I worried.

I dunno about dreamwidth; I gather it's got some nice features, but is there a big enough community there to make it worthwhile? Generally I use lj to read some fairly high traffic fandom coms.

And something about the people who made it put my back up. It's been years now, so I don't remember the details but I sensed they wanted to use fandom to prove something.

Thank you. I'm just watching all the excitmen here and hoping it dies down soon.

DW hasn't got as large a community over there as here, though the Dragon Age comm is pretty active.

My biggest problem with DW is that a lot of people over there seem to like to use social justice issues to gain brownie points with each other. What I like to do when I remember or if LJ is really slow for me, is to follow a relatively small list and crosspost from over there, and read my watch list over here. It's probably an easy arrangement for me as I don't post to any communities though.

Hah. I follow one of the smaller social justice comms and we recently had a big discussion about the fact that the social justice movement on lj was so toxic. People came up with some reasons why, but no bright ideas about how to change it - it's a start, I suppose.

Maybe I'll migrate eventually, I dunno. DW seems to take itself a bit too seriously. Fandom is for fun, or should be (ha ha).
