Wow, that is incredibly rude of them to assume that you could drop everything and start working for them. Yeah they need people now, but AT LEAST two weeks is standard practice! Nice one, USPS. And I'm sorry you can't go to Otakon mow, but at least you've got a full plate. It seems like a lot, I know, but a lot of people do it, and I'll be in the same boat in the fall. 8( *curls around*

My mother told me they do this shit ALL the time. They are so unorganized and late and last minute with everything. It's just the one lady who's in charge that's like that, not everyone else. But since she's the one running the time table, she screws up everyone.

Are you still going to Otakon =D I've been assuming you were staying in your parents hotel.

Yeah well, it's probably people like her who are why the USPS is cutting down on service and hours, and the post office is on the edge of oblivion. :| Thanks lady. And yeah, I meant to get back to you earlier, but I'm still going, and staying with my folks. I guess it's a good thing they made that reservation almost a year ago, derp derp!

Yeah, that and unions. People not sending as much mail, too many people working who are inept. Horrible customer service, and just a general bad attitude from people.

Yeah, I actually had three rooms. :| I just dropped two of them.

While I don't expect them to be all 'Oh, okay, we'll delay it for you', they are just snide and rude. There's no reason to treat someone less than human the FIRST time you call them.

I'll need it. That bad attitude is probably going to wear on my after a while, good money or not.
