So, the new season has begun, and so far, I've seen the following: 07-Ghost, Hagaren (FMA), Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S, Phantom - Requiem for the Phantom, Pandora Hearts, and Hanasakeru Seishounen. Thoughts...

If you like Adachi Mitsuru's style, check Cross Game (it seems Irino Miyu is in 2 or so title this season...) I like Adachi's storytelling, and try on Cross Game even before I read the manga version ^^;;

This season seems fairly slow in terms of interesting series.

But I've enjoyed K-ON, Valkyria Chronicles, Hayate no Gotoku, Asura Cryin' and Pandora Hearts. I'm easily amused though, so I can understand these titles not working for everyone, ;)

*laughs* We overlap on only one title. ^^; I stopped watching Hayate after a handful of eps so I never even looked at it this time around. Will take a peek at the other two though. ^_^

I will fully admit that I will watch a lot of crap if my favorite seiyuu are in the series. Makes for some interesting times, ^_^.

I never got into La Corda, so I didn't even look at the continuation. ^^;

I actually haven't gotten beyond the first vol. That manga takes a certain mindset for me to sit down and read. ^^; (Mind you, I've read all of 07-Ghost that I could get my hands on, so that one's quite an easy read. :P )

I think I dread the reading over what was written more than anything. I'm so far into the story that re-acquainting myself with it takes *time*. >.>

I'd give you sympathy on having to re-acquaint yourself, but for some reason, Charlie won't let me. Instead, he's begging me to lend him to you. So, without further ado! *points to icon* =P

Let's see, I'm trying 07 Ghost, Pandora Hearts, Valkyria Chronicles, the new FMA, Shangri-La and I think that's it. I tried KON but there wasn't enough intelligence in there for me to keep watching. I'm going to be sooo busy this season. Oh, and Pandora Hearts is also based on a manga, I read as much as that and 07 Ghost as I could find before the season which is why I'm trying both.

How's Pandora Hearts manga? I haven't read it at all, but at the same time, I wasn't so intrigued as to track it down. Mind you, it's oddball enough that it might be worth it just for whatever else might be included in the story there compared to the anime. ^^;

Let's see, I've only found to the beginning of volume three (volume eight just came out) and I liked it more than I thought. I thought that it would place too much emphasis on the similarities to Alice in Wonderland (is it just me or do the Japanese have an obsession with that book?) but it seemed to be moving in a more overall gothic direction. I also liked the characters a lot, the art was decent (aka, the artist didn't go overboard with the screentones) so I'll be buying it when the volumes come out stateside. I'll be waiting awhile though, the first one is being released until Decemeber.
