So, the cold's still with me, it *snowed* all day (and is expected to snow for the next few days), but above all, I've been summoned for jury duty. *sigh* All female members of this family have now been summoned for jury duty while none of the males have (to FSU's and my knowledge). It's made for a strange day

Tea! I haven't been drinking as much of that as I'd like (compared to other warm drinks). I think I'd feel better if it wasn't so *white* outside! ^^; I hear you guys are enjoying sun and warmth (and smog). Enjoy the warmth! I'll be huddled over here shivering at the chilly sight outside the window. :P

Wow, snow! It's been in the 70's here in Maine. I continuously bitch about the hot weather, so cooler is better for me.

I love hearing about your knitting, and seeing your pictures, especially since I'm sort of impaired when it comes to crafty things. I admire people who can make beautiful things. :)

We were at about the same temperature last week but winter came back with a vengeance. ^^; I'd be more than happy to swap weather systems/temperatures. :P

Sadly, the next five days are supposed to be snow, snow, snow, and blah. -_-; Aren't you in the region for the upcoming storm (tomorrow I think)? Not looking forward to still more white stuff falling. *sigh*

No idea about the trial yet. Jury selection is in early/mid-May, and you don't find out what the trial is until you get there for selection. Hopefully it'll be quick. ^_^

Is it a civil or criminal trial summons? Maybe there will be some details that spark a story once the socks let you go and you can start writing again. It sounds like you could use a speach to text program, so you could just dictate the stories as you think of them, then go back and clean them up later...

As far as I'm aware, there are only criminal jury trials over here. FSU wasn't selected, but the case she'd been summoned for was a B&E, and I don't recall what it was in my Mom's case. >.>

Can you imagine the SPR crew as the jury in a criminal trial? The jury room interactions could get crazy.
