THNMY! I seem to be doing a lot of these lately..

It is early afternoon on February 13th, and Kage is dressed in a dark red suit he somehow manages to pull off without it looking tacky.

Kage does not do tacky.

He also has two ridiculously soft little stuffed white dogs holding big red hearts begging "Be Mine". He doesn't really want the intended giftees to be his, of course, but the dogs are

And Phil, right on time, comes to the door, just the slightest air of weariness about him.

Considering how things have been lately, if he thought there was anything to the writing, it would be hard to keep the door open. As it is, there's just a small twisted smile. "Cute. How many of those things did you get the littles?"

Phil will kiss back enthusiastically. "Thanks," he mutters earnestly, with a bit of a sigh.

Kage looks at him after that reaction. "Rough week?"

[aureliaofarista]

"Yeah. I really don't want to talk about it." He kisses him again.

[kage_himoto]

"Then we won't talk." Kage proceeds to distract Phil the best way he knows how.. by kissing the guard till his sexy toes are nicely curled.

And curled they will be. "Does the door lock? Any chance of the littles coming in?" He mutters between kisses.

[kage_himoto]

"No lock. We could skip the second movie.. or watch it and prolong the anticipation before heading upstairs to the bedroom.."

"I must admit I'm intrigued by the movie, and I can be patient." A small twisted smile.

[kage_himoto]

Kage smiles, leaving Phil with one last kiss before slipping off to refill the popcorn and champagne. "You know, I'd give you chocolate, too. Tradition and all. But then I wouldn't be able to kiss you." He returns with the refills and settles in, hitting the button to dim the lights again, and setting up the second movie: The Princess Bride.

"And that simply would not do," Phil acknowledges pleasantly.

This movie has, in most respects, significantly fewer cultural oddities to reason around. Amusing, too. He'll cuddle, and chuckle, and occasionally comment about the inadvisability of messing with Spaniards.

When it's done, he'll kiss Kage. "That was delightful."

"No, Sir, it would not," he agrees.

Kage enjoys the cuddling, and chuckles with Phil. He doesn't actually know any Spaniards, but has to assume between the movie, and Phils comments, that if he ever does he will do his best not to annoy them.

"Mmm.. It was more fun with you than the last time I saw it." Kage is going to shift till he's sitting in your lap, Phil, if that's ok.

Phil is okay with Kage in his lap.

"Was it? Well, it seems like the kind of thing that gets more fun easily."

Kage nuzzles Phil's jawline. "I think it's the company. The last time I saw the movie, I was alone." Completely, actually, as he hadn't met Cassie and Hy yet, so the romantic parts of the movie were a little depressing at the time.

"Are you hungry, Handsome, or should I just take you upstairs to the bedroom, or next door to the playroom?"

Phil sets a hand on Kage's face. "Why don't we go next door first? Work up an appetite?"

Kage resists leaning into that hand, badly as he wants to. He only lets himself turn his head to kiss the palm. "Sounds like a plan," he says, standing and offering his own hand to Phil.

A twisted smile, Phil takes his hand and walks with him. When the door to the other room is secured, he'll very quickly press him against the wall and kiss him again.
