HOW can I be behind the first day of school? D:
That was the question that has plagued me since last Tuesday. But no matter, it's all good now. I spent the weekend frantically catching up with all the reading that needs to be done.

Rhianna loves music, so our library is heavily weighted in that direction - Tubby the Tuba, This Jazz Man
Olivia by Ian Falconer is another favorite, and the Frances books by Russell Hoban are a little dated (they frequent the dime store and buy gum for pennies) but really well written and enjoyable - both the kids and the parents show a bit more personality and brains than you often see in today's kids' books
