HOW can I be behind the first day of school? D:

That was the question that has plagued me since last Tuesday. But no matter, it's all good now. I spent the weekend frantically catching up with all the reading that needs to be done.

I DON'T KNOW IF I'VE SAID THIS PRIOR TO NOW, BUT I GOT THE PEER TUTOR JOB! <3 ( Read more... )

Anywhere from two to seven years old.

I know her! I like her. Thanks for reminding me of her work. I'll get some of her books out of the library then. :D

Thank you! The more suggestions I have, the more ideas of what to write when my time comes to write my own I get. ^^

Boynton is by far my favorite, and the kids love her. Check out her music too - she has 4 albums

Rhianna loves music, so our library is heavily weighted in that direction - Tubby the Tuba, This Jazz Man

Olivia by Ian Falconer is another favorite, and the Frances books by Russell Hoban are a little dated (they frequent the dime store and buy gum for pennies) but really well written and enjoyable - both the kids and the parents show a bit more personality and brains than you often see in today's kids' books
