You had a very nice touch balancing Tamaki's and Kyouya's perspectives regarding each other and the situation that they found himself in, although I found Kyouya's sections a little...strange. I'm not entirely sure if he would wax lyrical about Tamaki, but your writing is very smooth and it wasn't very jarring.
I especially liked the mother-hen aspects of Kyouya. It's something I've noticed about him in the manga but can't quite put a name to it, but you've pulled it off very nicely.
I wait anxiously for the next installment.

I'm glad you found their perspectives balanced. With Kyouya's part, I wasn't entirely too sure with the poetics either, but it fit, to me at least, in the sense that while Kyouya himself is very unromantic and opportunistic, he allows Tamaki to let him dream, just a bit. I also made an assumption about Ouran, that Shakespeare and other Classics etc might be required texts, so even though Kyouya normally doesn't wax lyrical, it wouldn't be foreign to him. ^_^
Hehe, I suppose he's a bit of a mother hen. When I was writing him, the term didn't quite register to me either, but I recall thinking 'he wants to be adult. he needs some responsibility. like looking after someone'.
Thanks again. I may take a while for the next installment though, because I'm packing and getting ready to move around the end of this month.

Favourite lines this time around: Kyouya smiled wryly, “He’s my young master, too.” I may have squee-ed right then.
The entirety of the "Tears" drabble. My heart hurt.

When I wrote that line, I was smacking myself, thinking 'argh, damn my fangirl mind. shush!' because it was squeeing too, which made it hard to be objective and just write. Then again, if I was objective about this, I probably wouldn't be able to write much ^^;
For "Tears", ... me too.

I think Tamaki is still not confident enough with Kyouya in #28 to show when he's upset. Yet. He's already drawing connectings between Kyouya and his mother, and partially realising it, but until he's once again sure of what he wants from Kyouya (mostly likely a parent/friend), he won't be as open as he becomes in the actual series.
Then there's teenage hormones wreaking havoc upon his gentlemanly sensibilities like in #30. Tamaki felt ravished. Kyouya probably felt like he ravished him too O_o
