Goodbye, Rob

My step-dad, Rob Stirling, died in hospital just now; my brother called me on the way to the hospital to let me know. He was, I think, 95 (I keep forgetting his age, which is ... strange.)

I am so very sorry. I know words are inadequate at this point, but you have my thoughts and deepest sympathy. He sounds like someone you will be happy to remember in years to come, and that is what will matter.
