It's been hard to watch. There's a student up in Canada who's pledging not to have children until the government can guarantee those children would have a future.

I think this is wise.

As we were driving (to my shame, even though it was for Bob's health on an unseasonably (!) hot day) up to the Evanston event, I told Bob that I had begun to hope that Andy and Emily do not have children. I don't want to die with the knowledge that my grandchildren would have to live after the collapse.
