The deal: penguins are cute, Republicans are mean and hormones make your skin do screwy things and give you a sex drive.

And I think it's only "snivelling" in Canada.

This is probably TMI, but I'm one of the small minority of people who doesn't have a sex drive. Shouldn't I be exempt from hormones (and preferably Republicans)?

Well, if the world was fair, we'd all be exempt from Republicans (except maybe John McCain) and we'd each have a detachable reproductive system we could just leave in a tank somewhere until we wanted/needed it. "You wannt get funky, dear? Okay, lemme snap my penis on..." ::shrk! click!:: "Okay, I'm good."

Please discover the joy that is not turning all relationships into sex-based ones.

For real!

How old is Will? Cos I have two teen nephews (13 and 15) who are going through the asshat stage of development - my sister had to leave work early the other day because they were both at home trying to *kill* each other. Literally - they nearly went through the front door. We're actually pretty sure that the eldest has inherited his father's bipolar disorder, along with all the other worst genetic traits from both sides of the family, but he refuses to go talk to a nice counsellor about it. I've even tried talking to him about *my* counsellor and how there's a good chance, with a history of mental illness on both sides of the family, that he'd benefit from help, but no go. Asshat.

::hugs::

I find that my PMS is LOTS worse when I'm not on antidepressants or the synthetic hormones I take. When I'm on my meds, my period is MUCH easier to deal with.

Will is 14, and is bipolar, as well as several other alphabet-soup diagnoses. Most of what seems to be wrong with him at the moment, though, is a bad case of adolescence.
