So I spent a lot of time awake last night due to a headache I still have, and got woken up by a phone call saying the cable guy was at my door. For what it's worth, I finished the newest Nightrunner book on Monday night. It's very clearly the first book in a series... I mean, it stands alone (-ish) but it was clearly written with "sequel" in mind. And the advertisement in the back of the book says the sequel won't be out until next summer.

That's just *lovely*. That's the second time that's happened this month--I started re-reading the Thomas Covenant series because I saw that there was one last book out, only to find that it was the first of four. Grr. Argh.
