Author's Note: I actually planned this chapter to be an info chapter. I was going to use it to let everyone know more about the ship Lars was on and the history of the Captain and his crew. i really hate the locking in part though. Being locked in would make me * shudder *

and thank you very much for the info dump, i love your explanation of how they can be a pirate ship while at the same time sail safely. Not sure that the fleet could stay with the captain though, even if he did have high-up friends. maybe, if he had a reward or inheritance or savings to buy it from the military, it would have been more believable?

I know I would hate that too. I love to curl up in small dark places but I definitly want to be able to leave them at my whim

I'm glad you like it. It wasn't the whole fleet that went just one ship...I'll go back and make that more clear. And there is more to that story but Lars only knows the rumors.
