That...is an awesome story.
I like the DnD references.

I was in the middle of playing the FR games at the time - BGII, I think, specifically. Such good games. :D

Haaaaaaaaaaahahahaha that's wicked! This was Cam, wasn't it? Man, AMH was my favourite job I've ever had so far. I was happy there, even if it did get a little insane at times. Once Atari shut down, everything changed... it seemed to shift from a great, fun, productive atmosphere full of people who loved their job and the industry, into a more "professional" almost factory like place where people had to keep their heads down, and no tomfoolery was allowed.

It certainly changed my outlook on the industry. We had a massive QA team, but we got so much shit done in amongst the playing of music, the name calling and the boyish behaviour.

And in amongst it all was this quiet little girl who kept to herself, with her headphones on. It made me want to get to know this cute little Bec-Bec. Quiet people are great! ( ゚ ー ゚)

I think it was Kevin, actually? The guy just before Clara. Not sure if you were there yet. :)

I agree. Krome was a far cry from AMH, and not necessarily in a good way. Better structures and procedures, but worse implementation; the end result simply being an inordinate amount of stressed-out employees taking 'sick' leave all the time.

*high five for quietness!*
