Our Sophie has a heart murmur and she turned eleven this month! She's restricted from heavy outdoor activity, but other than that she's been fine her whole life. Congratulations on kitten love!

Thank you! And I'm sure Asuka-chan will be fine, but I still want to wrap her up in a blanket and cuddle her for the next, oh, sixteen years or so.

It's a hard urge to stifle, I have to agree!
Sophie's next to me right now, actually, purring and batting her head against my arm for attention. She doesn't like it when mama doesn't play pet the baby!

Awww! Asuka had a big day today, so she's passed out with her head hanging off the couch right now. We rigged the cat teaser to poke out of the hall closet door.
