Even if I'm so thrilled that Rose and the other Doctor have each other, I'm devastated for the first Doctor. He's lost her again, and he's lost Donna. All his other friends have other people to be with, as he told Wilf. Yet again, he's alone and he has to live with the knowledge of what he had to do to Donna :(

I hope he gets some happiness next year!

Except... he's always bound to end up alone and miserable in the end. The only time he didn't end up alone was at the end of S1, when he regenerated but kept Rose with him. And hey, he got some happiness this year with Donna. :)))

But I know what you mean. He really deserves to be happy.
