When me and Horio-kun went on our Quest I had to buy the plane ticket with money for school. :/:/ Now that my parents are done being happy I'm home they say I have to earn the money back. :S:S:S A few years ago my Aunt taught me how to make quilts because there are no girls in the family for her to teach. So I thought maybe I could use that ( Read more... )

Thank you Kikumaru-senpai. :):):) I did. :D:D Well, my Aunt helped me figure out how to do the racket strings but I did all the work myself. It's really comfortable. :):)

That's very nice! Do you just piece it or do you quilt it, too? My aunt quilts and she sends hers out to someone for hand quilting.

I totally understand empty wallets. ;_; I'm thinking about taking on a part-time job.

Thanks An-chan. :):) I do the piecing and quilting. It was a lot of work to learn but my Aunt says there's no point if I have someone else do half the work. :/:/:/ She's very serious about quilting. But she's really good so she was a good teacher. :):)

I hope I don't have to get a part-time job. :(:(:( I mean, they're good things usually. But I need lots of time for tennis practice and homework. :/:/ But if I have to do it to earn the money I'll probably make it work out. :S:S

I think my aunt would love to do her own quilting, but she has arthritis and only likes hand quilting, not machine. So she sends it out.

If I do, I'll only want to work three or four days a week so I do have time for everything else. Babysitting used to work for me. It was great because I could get all my captain's paperwork done while the kids slept. But...I've really reached into my savings and want to replenish things. And I still owe my folks some money. ;_; I really hate owing people.

Who knows? Maybe if I earn enough I'll order one of your quilts. I bet they'd make a wonderful present.

Oh, that's sad. :(:(:( But I guess it makes sense. It would be awful to not be able to do something you really like. D:D:

I guess a few nights wouldn't be too bad. :/:/ I've been doing a lot of extra practice because I was away for so long, though. :S:S I think it's been helping a lot. :):):) But I want to keep having time for it.

That would be really cool. :D:D I think quilts are really good presents because they look nice but they're useful too, and everyone can use them. :):):) But, um, you don't have to get one if you don't want to of course. :)
