On the one hand, he’s relieved that Justin’s not hurt, on the other, he can’t believe that Justin would put up with that sort of behavior - again. It’s as if Justin hasn’t progressed at all in the years they’ve been apart. Brian would have thought that Justin would have found more self-respect in that time. How can he still be with people who don’t give him what he needs?

Oh, I love reunion fics! Delusional Brian, determined Justin. Owen is the perfect not/Brian.

Very interesting! I wonder what happened back then that made Brian distance himself so much.
At first impression Owen is nothing like Brian because he doesn't seem to care about anyone besides himself.
And I'm pleased that Jennifer found herself a good man :)
I'm intrigued.
And relieved to know that your story is already finished and you're updating very fast *grins* Otherwise the suspense wouldn't be as delightful.

I could never post anything before I finished writing. RL always has a tendency to get in the way. Look how long it took me to write this one and it's not even particularly long.

Excellent as always!! My first thought after reading about Brian disappearence is that he was sick again...cannot wait to see what is the real reason. Owen sounds as a jerk and may be there is some resemblance with Brian's behavior in the first episodes but I was glad to hear that Justin has no feelings towards him.
