In purely human terms, there is nothingness - that vacuous emptiness - and fellowship/followship, then there is individuality and leadership, and all its implied loneliness. Most of us lie somewhere in between the two, with the trend in this country, at this time, sadly tumbling toward the former.
I speak blindly. This is a random and illusory connection. I know not who you are, and our paths will likely never cross. The fact that you seem to have survived adolescence, though, and hung on to your individuality represents no small feat. In retrospect, you may find that it was the greatest struggle of your life, and the fact that it came naturally to you doesn’t diminish the accomplishment of it in any way.
Don’t spend a lot of time pondering which “sphere” you inhabit. I suspect you opted long ago, without so much as a thought, to plant your feet firmly on multiple spheres. Travel between and among them at will. There’s nothing dire about that.
