Okay, so after taking some stuff down to the new apartment to call dibs on our rooms (I took the books I had on my shelf (mostly Japanese and art texts), a bunch of clothes from my closet, my sword and stand, and my table easel in its box), I amend my earlier disappointment

can you raise your bed up on those bed elevator things (or cinder blocks, if you can't afford the other) to increase space under your bed?

I may do that. It makes me nervous, though. Even though I did it for years and it never fell.
