I hate femme.

Confusingly, I loved this. And, next offer of demands, I'm pegging for a goddamn sequel.

‘The thing is- well, when I was your age, anyway, I was clumsy around people I fancied, and well, you know that Bill has a serious girlfriend that he wants to move in with, and there’s no point in you fancying Lupin.’

Hermione acting clumsy around Tonks but Tonks thinking it was everyone else -- so cool, how do you come up with these things that are so great but realistic, at the same time?

Tonks looked up in surprise, noticing that Hermione had crept even closer than she’d suspected. At first she was rather shocked; that an eighteen year-old girl had never done this before, but then realising she hadn’t meant it quite like that.

*giggles*

Hermione was actually clumsy at this, pressing them both tentatively against the desk, head unsure of the correct angle, hands and arms flitting randomly, insecurely, worried about were they should rest.
Wow. This was just -- amazing. So accurate a depiction

This is one that would possibly work with a sequel...

Heh, and as for coming up with the plot; I stole and rearranged it from a Harry/Tonks I wrote ages ago, ah ha ha.

I wouldn't say I hate femmeslash, though it doesn't do much for me, but it isn't one of my favourite things. But I really enjoyed writing this. Strange.

I liked Tonk's observations. And the dissimilarities between them.

I don't often read femmeslash, but nice work, especially for a first attempt! (And very brave of you, giving it a try.) Your characterizations were brilliant and so nicely carried through to the very end. Will there be more to this fic? It seems like it might lend itself to being continued...
