Я много слышу и читаю фразу которую сказала Голда Мэир "Мир с Арабами будет возможен только тогда когда они полюбят своих детей больше чем они ненавидят нас". Это ведь правильно, мне как человеку который изучает психологию совсем не понятно как мать сама благословляет своего сына на смерть, ведь неужели она на столько верит в то что сын вознесёться

I once read an "explanation" from an "expert" about why Palestinian kids and teenagers want to and go on to become suicide bombers. The "expert" wrote that because the lives of Palestinians are so tragic, deprived, and seemingly pointless, they see no purpose or future and therefore do what they can to provide for themselves in the afterlife. Because the Jews have made their lives so hard here on Earth, the only place where they can be "successful" is in Heaven with Allah.

I read that and thought how determined the Palestinians must be not to do anything to improve their lives if they would rather "work" on killing us instead of sweating amongst themselves. How indicative of our values, that we see young death as a tragedy and they see it as an investment...
