You know that 20,000-word slump Chris Baty always warns us about in NaNoWriMo? I bet if I counted up my cumulative word count, I'd be in the ballpark, because MAN, am I Feeling. It.

You're right, I need to lighten up. It's only the Internet (props for the proper-noun-capitalization, BTW -- I totes noticed XD), and, as much as I love it and work hard at it... it is only fanfiction. :p I just forget sometimes that it's something I do for me. The whole reason I got back into it was because I was so tired of writing papers catered to what my professors wanted. >.> So then I started fic writing again and... fell right back into old habits. Yeesh. Validation, man. It's a vicious cycle.

In any case, I don't think I've asked recently, but it looks like you're having a great time in Mexico! Coming back with a tan, I hope? ^_^ and lot of cheap drugs?

Yes, MX is awesome, and I'm sorry to be going home. Response is a fickle thing, don't judge the merit of your fic on it! ...I've been reading the offline, but forgetting to go back and comment. My internet is so sporadic here :-/ Your work is really good, and worth continuing.
