Wait, is Cara confessed or is she protected by love like Richard would have been?
(I'm guessing the latter but the use of 'Mistress' by Cara is confusing me a bit.)

i'm sry for the confusion, the 'mistress' thng was just more of a poke at kahlan being bossy, Cara isn't confessed, and i'm glad ure enjoying the story so far :)

Oh my... Thats a lot Zedd has to deal with. But I think this new emotional Confessor-Kahlan is a lot more likeable than the old Confessor-Kahlan.

I wonder what Zedd will do.
