Becca lived across the hall from me and Jorie in the dorms. we had a huge 'white-board battle' about hockey (she's a minnasota wild fan) and then after we got tired of fighting with her, and she with us, we became friends and watched hockey games together. she was in one of my english classes last winter too.
I have her too. She was in class yesterday, but I missed what exactly had happened because I got in a car accident and missed the first couple minutes. Sandy Burr, right? What class are you taking with her?
Sandy Burr is a riot. Hopefully you'll enjoy the class -- I personally hated it because I don't like analyzing literature, but the class itself was interesting.
Tragic story on the prof though - it was Robbie Goodrich's wife, she died in childbirth on Sunday sometime. I heard about it yesterday... it's just sad.
Hi! This is your absent professor writing. First, thanks so much for being kind to my husband, Alan Willis, who came to class for me today, explained the situation concerning our best friend's death, and handed out the course syllabus. The experience was probably pretty weird and unsettling, and I thank you for being patient and understanding. "
which, made me feel a lot better about the whole situation.
and hopefully. though, it's an intro to lit class... tragedy abound! (none quite so bad as losing one's best friend irl though)
