Stephen's father passed away Monday morning. I suppose it wasn't a huge shock--he has battled this neurological deterioration for 13 years. We knew it left him fragile. But Sunday he wasn't any more ill than typical. I might still be in shock. I don't know. It's all feeling very surreal and difficult and confusing. His mother stayed with us Monday
