Thanks! And you've got a shit-ton nominated so woo-hoo! You deserve each and every one of them!
I can't wait until RL lets me start writing and doing fandom things again. I'm just about to get my house up for sale and hopefully get moved soon. I'm going between several states every other week and it's getting old. My sister got really sick this past fall (she's much better now) so I had to go up to take care of my dad and help her husband with her so I've decided I should just move back to there full-time but it's been a long drawn-out affair that I can't wait to get over with and be settled again. Hope you're well!
I have been trying to make the most of it before my knees give out, literally. Spent most of 2014 traveling. Seattle to San Diego in my car. Every tree, every beach. The mountain west too, and looking in on elders as well. Back in Lubbock working full-time at the airport.
I fully agree that the nominated works are wonderful and what an honor!
I've only written 17 stories in two years. If you go to my journal or anywhere else I think you will love O Come All Ye Faithful. I'm unreasonably proud of that one. I don't know why this means so much to me but it does. Gibbs and Tony make my heart pound and my brain convulse with Feels. Fandom friends have been the best I've ever had.
It is so nice to hear from you again, Perfect in fact! :-)
Hugs to you and most especially to your Sis. I can't tell you how glad I am she got better!
I need to find some time to catch up on all the wonderful works I've missed recently. I'm putting Faithful at the top of my list!
SO glad you got to spend time with the parents as I know you had a lot of worries with them but sorry about your knees. I understand that with the past back issues I've had (but fortunately my back has been holding up relatively well through all of this!) Glad about sis too! We almost lost her twice in Oct/Nov but she's now doing better than she has in years I think.
I've been involved in other fandoms but Tibbs fans (as a collective whole) seem like the nicest of all folks! You are at the top of that list. Hugs to you!
