Thanks for the review! :) I'm really glad you agree that Billy has a not-secret crush on Tyra. The thing is, I don't think he'll let it go anywhere, maybe because he has a few years on Tim and maybe because he wants Tyra to get out of Dillon. Thanks for liking the concealer/frozen peas comparison.

When you mentioned Billy in the other review, I wondered if you'd seen this, but I didn't want to pimp. Thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked this story about these two. Billy and Tyra were my season 1 impossibly unresolved-sexual-tension couple. Like Tyra jason. (Is there anyone that girl doesn't have chemistry with?)

But (weird as it sounds) my season 2 Tyra crack pairing is Tyra/Matt Saracen. Season 2 Billy was a little skeevier, and season 2 Tyra was just enough softer, while Matt was just enough manlier... I dunno. I probably shouldn't be trying to justify my crack pairing, since I haven't even ficced them or seen them ficced.

Um, are we, like, soulmates or something? So with you on the Matty/Tyra. (I used to have a Tyracen icon in rotation, I'll have to see if I can dig it up for you.)

I have this theory that Matt will be Coach in 25 years and Tyra is already so many shades of Tami Taylor, so they would obviously be perfect together. Coach doesn't strike me as any of the other players quite the same way, we know he had a dad who was around, but not much else, but he really seems like he's a man who's pulled his own self up by his boot straps and learned about life the hard way and it's made him the man who he was. We know Tami was the 'pretty' girl in high school (natch), but I really do believe that she's had some harsh realities in her own life (you don't get to be that awesome and wise when life was a bowl of cherries).

So yeah. In conclusion, perfect together.

Well, at the very least we have the same taste in unconventional couples (that's a term from Roswell days, about non-canon couples). I just have a soft spot in my heart for taking some roads not taken in shows or canon itself. Guess you do too? :)
