Thought I should make my annual effort to get back into the swing of posting regularly. January. A time for beginnings - writing, mainly; reading, always. No 'rithmetic, though.

Ma started knitting me a nice petrol blue cardigan when I was about 7. It's upstairs somewhere, still in pieces. Not sure what's left to do, but I don't have the pattern!

I borrowed a book from Landgirl a few years ago. There are many pieces, none of which would fit together as the pattern suggested, regardless of blocking. I may turn some of the squares into small cushion covers.
