I wanted to go to Hebden Bridge today for some retail therapy so we decided to make an afternoon of it with a trip to the cinema to see Mr Peabody and Sherman. It was quite good, but not brilliant. There were jokes for the grown-ups, one or two of which were well flagged up, and while the story involved a boy and a girl together I wasn't

Interesting to hear. Mr Peabody was on my list. Saw The Monuments Men yesterday, as the 5.20 showing of the Lego Movie was full of kids. I found it OK, but a little laboured and fairly preachy in places. Some good bits, but few and far between. The cast are excellent - much better than the film overall.
