Wow, I used to read 50 books a year - before Internet ... And when I had libraries with interesting books accessible ...

Well, duh! It's a book (and it made me laugh, and nearly cry, and be happy. Well done!)!

My mum likes the Sue Grafton books. Crime thrillers aren't really my thing but I like to know what letter she'll do next and what happens when she gets to Z.

Hope your mum's settling into Walsden OK. I was going to get in touch and see if you wanted a hand with anything but I had other things to deal with.

We've got mum sorted and we've been thinking of you.

You read like I do, a run of the same author. It's always sad when I run out of the current author's books.

I was surprised at how many series I read. This year I must get back to my unread bookcase and work through more shelves of that before buying any more books! I think I wanted a year off sci-fi/fantasy and definitely achieved that!

Impressed! How were the dragon books?

They were lovely. We bought the first one because of the film, and started reading it to YoungBloke. Then OldBloke and I both decided to read the book ourselves because we were only getting alternate chapters. Then we bought the rest of the set because the first one was enjoyable.
