i lived all over so cal from age eight to 24 and and have friends literally all over. tell me where you're gonna be staying and i'll give you the low down. l.a.'s huge and phenomenally diverse, so whatever you want, there's a place you can get it. you'll have a blast if you keep the right perspective. let's hook up soon :)
LA was quite the adventure. We ended up having to drive down Saturday morning due to work schedule conflict but it was still lots of fun. We hung out on sunset.. found some fun vintage shops.. 2 of the boys work at Amoeba so we went by the record store and then tried this really good vegan asian/ diner restaurant in Hollywood. We ended up staying with one of the bands in West LA and then went to Cha Cha Cha in Santa Monica (which Steve actually took me too like many moons ago and i totally remembered the jerk chicken and fun atmosphere), walked along the boardwalk in Santa Monica and then hit up the Mark Jacobs store and other shops in Hollywood before driving back up. Hopefully next time we will be able to spend more time but it was such a fun adventure... I will definatly be getting back to you next time I go.
