I wonder how long I'll keep writing up these little Graze boxes. Hmm. I guess I'll keep at it until the snacks start repeating. But who knows when that will be? Graze has over 90 snacks, so in theory it would take me at least 23 boxes to try everything once! But in the meantime, this helps me keep track of what I've already tried, and who knows? Maybe someone who is thinking about trying Graze.com will randomly find an entry via Google and it'll help them decide.
Cookies and Cream
mini chocolate cookies, roasted hazels, white chocolate buttons and sunflower seeds
Man, there are so many sunflower seeds! Like, the box contained 4 or 5 white chocolate pieces, 5 or 6 hazelnuts, maybe 10 tiny chocolate cookies and 100 million seeds. I did like this box, though. The four elements all work together as a delicious combination flavor, but they are also nice as individual components.
Verdict: LIKE
Bonnie Wee Oatbakes
red onion marmalade with cheese and chive oatbakes
The "oatbakes" pretty much taste like so many pieces of cereal box cardboard. Virtually no flavor at all. But the red onion marmalade - who knew you could use onions to make marmalade? - had such a strong, savory flavor that cardboard was actually a pretty good choice for complimenting it. There was a slight bit of crunch, thanks to the cracker. I actually really enjoyed this one, which surprised me - I am not a fan of onions, so I thought for sure that I'd hate this one.
Verdict: LIKE
Summer Berry Flapjack
rustic rolled oat flapjack with berry-infused cranberries
The flapjacks are awesome. As I said
in my first box, they look a bit like granola bars but they're softer. The berry one was sweet and filling - even though the package only comes with three little bars, I was satisfied.
Verdict: LOVE
Eton Mess
almond slices, blackcurrants, mini meringues and cranberries
The mini meringues are adorable - I've never seen a trail mix-type snack that had them before, so that was interesting to try. They gave the mix a bit of crunch, although not much. Overall, the Eton Mess is pretty tart, thanks to those black currants and cranberries. It's a snack I'd definitely have to be in the mood for. I keep going back and forth between 'like' and 'trash' - I wouldn't mind getting this again, sometime in the future, but then again it's probably on the bottom rung of snacks I want to have again. I mean, I'd much rather get a box stuffed full of flapjacks!
Verdict: TRASH (but I've switched it back to 'LIKE' twice in the past ten minutes)
