I work better with deadlines.

So... I'm heading back into the workforce next Monday. Well sorta. I'm doing an Educational Assistant role at a school just round the corner from our place; working with 7-9 year olds from 8.30 - 3.30pm daily.

Thanks dear... I hope I'll still remain her favorite person even if I'm going to spend half her waking hours away from her!

Standing unsupported is pretty advanced! She'll be walking soon I reckon.

That's what my helper reckons too (the walking bit) though I'm not sure if her small body can support her big head for long lol. I stand her up, release for a couple of secs until she gets all excited and tilt over (usually by flapping her arms). I think the swimming helps, she's got really strong limbs!

Clover is doing really well! Standing unsupported and climbing stairs, very impressive :)

Good luck on the new job! That's very good hours I think. It's good to try it out before committing to be a SAHM indefinitely. I had a mini breakdown of sorts earlier this week cos I was feeling a bit restless too :p

Ah back to your old job? Your parents are going to be the primary caregivers?

still doing HR L&D but in different industry. my old job's work culture not very family friendly. now hoping that the new one will be just like what they told me.

All the best! :) At least you won't be working far away from home and it's not for the entire day. Have fun working with the kids!
