Once she starts crawling properly, you'll need to babyproof the entire place and get some sort of play-yard. At least you guys (or your helper) can visit the loo or grab some food in peace!
We didn't child-proof our house, so the next best thing we did was to purchase a play-yard to keep an active toddler in a confined space (never mind the benefits of free-range play, it was a necessary measure to give us a few minutes of sane toilet time :)
Lol... I want to get a play yard too! I was out, my helper left her on her play mat and went to the bathroom, less than a min later she found her crawling off it to where our armchair is! And right now she isnt even doing a proper crawl (just the seal belly flop thing). As for her hair, the front bit is, sides are still kinda bald haha!
J had the same issue with uneven hair growth - we found that trimming his hair on top (not shaving!) helped, at least to create the illusion of better follicle distribution :)
You might want to try if Clover's sides don't resolve itself after her 1st birthday?
Lol, there's really so much to explore eh! My boy naps well, taking 3 naps of about an hour every day. But sleep at night is a whole different story, he only goes down about 10pm. We try to get him into the mood to sleep earlier but he's just so distracted, moving about and all he wants is to play!
