I practiced with Julia (my other cello) last night. I'm not certain if it was supposed to be Julie or Julia. I'm leaning toward Julia. This cello is heavy, dark, and red. It needs at least one new string. I even used the (dead) bow that has so few hairs left... because I had no other bow to use

You can also get someone to rehair your bow, it usually costs about $35 and is done in a few days. It's a good thing to remember, and more economical in terms of "undeading" your old bows (if they were good to begin with).
