'work phase' cello practice

First let me say that orchestra was about 80% Wonderful and 20% What Am I Doing Here? Of the music I had been practicing, only one piece stood out in it's suckage. Yes, it was the one I'd practiced the least, with the most pencil markings, that I'm not terribly fond of. Surprise surprise. Then there's the other piece. Dread It's new. Loathing ( Read more... )

my cello instructor also teaches violin and viola. Of his students, when they're ready, some join his junior and senior orchestras. It is by no means a real (paid) gig, but I'm proud to be part of it!

It's still fun to play with others and to learn and grow with other people :) who cares if it's not a real gig (like you said).
