This is my first post about my latest show obsession: Emmerdale! If you aren't watching yet, trust me you need to start. Check out the spoilers for next week, it's going to be amazing!
Oh yay! I'm so glad you're into Emmerdale now!! I have been SO impressed with this show. Danny Miller is killing and it is such a new spin on a classic coming out story.
So many people told me I should check it out that eventually I just had to. It was peer pressure. LOL. I'm so glad everyone pushed me in to it though, Danny Miller is quite the find when it comes to young actors. His crying scenes with Paddy were absolutely heartbreaking. The only trouble I have is trying to wait patiently for uploads. *g*
I threw that icon together rather quickly, but I'm glad you like it. As for watching, I'll tell you what everyone told me: You have to watch it, it's SOOO good. *g* It's totally true. I know it's tough to find room for another show, but this is really a good one. So much angsty goodness coming up!
Yep, all thanks to YT. It's on everyday although the time seem to change and I think sometimes it's on for a half hour and sometimes for an hour, so that part has me a bit confused. Re the time issue - it airs at 7pm mon-fri, and there's a second ep on thurs at 8.30. Sometimes that Thursday night ep isn't split runs for the hour like last night; they had the leaders debate for the general election on from 8.30-10

Aww, thanks! I've done a few other icons, but not enough to post them all yet. I want to wait till I can make some of the kiss. I haven't been able to find a LJ community for Aaron, do you know of any?
Thanks for the clarification on the time issue. I have to say I find it a tad confusing how they split the show like that.
Reason why they split the show on Thursday is because BBC airs Eastenders at 7.30 on Thursday nights, so ITV split Emmerdale to avoid a clash. (EE would traditionally beat Emmerdale in the ratings, though I believe emmerdale had more viewers last night)
as far as I know, there's no emmerdale community on LJ, some of the actors are on Twitter though - James Thornton who plays John Barton is on a one man mission to get them all tweeting! He's got Danny on there, but he doesn't tweet much yet...
It's nice that people don't have to choose between EE and Emmerdale. Since I watch both I certainly wouldn't want to have to pick. LOL. I say all this as I'm waiting impatiently for todays EE clips.
There really needs to be an Aaron community at least. I'm kind of surprised nobody has made one yet with how popular the storyline seems to be around the net.
Me out of lurker mode again, to say Yay!! at the news you're watching Emmerdale. I remember watching the show years ago, then I stopped and it's the whole Aaron story that's got me watching again.
He & Jackson are just too cute with all the flirting and it's such a nice change to see Aaron happy (shame it's not going to last)
As everyone says, Danny Miller has just been killing it over the last month or so & I'm certainly happy to admit the eps the other week with him & Paddy had me in tears (I've also figured out that at the moment they're on a pattern of every other Thursday being a major Aaron night where they put the poor lad through an emotional ringer, funny how that pattern has happened but I imagine it'll stop soon :)) Dominic Brunt (who plays Paddy) has also been brilliant and for me he really hit it on the head when talking to Marlon last week about why Aaron is the way he is (in terms of not trusting people etc)
And I agree there should be some kind of Aaron community, that would be excellent *g*

I love seeing Aaron and Jackson flirting. There is such a nice dynamic between them.
Danny is pretty damn amazing. I was crying right along with Aaron and Paddy in those scenes. They have really done a great job with the storyline so far and I'm very excited about all the angst coming up.
I will keep an eye out for a community. I've never actually run one so I'm hesitant to make one.
Danny Miller is doing such an amazing job--he's broken my heart a couple of times with his performance. That kid knows how to bring the angst. ... and I can't wait until he has some happiness.
