Ah, Überraschungseier! :-D Lovely, yes. *smiles*

How come your family lived in Germany? *curious* Was your dad stationed here?

I was so excited to get them! I'm always amazed at the little toys they manage to fit inside. *grin*

Yes, my step-dad was stationed outside of Frankfurt. We lived there for a couple of years and my middle sister was actually born there. I was very young so I don't have a lot of memories, but I remember those eggs quite clearly.

Ooh! I LOVE those eggs! They're so yummy and fun! My uncle was stationed in Germany for a long time and he used to send us those ALL the time. In fact, I have a toy from one of them sitting on my shelf right now as we speak! LOL.

What a great present!

The little toys are always so much fun. Yesterday I got a bulldozer and a little rapper hippo with his hat on sideways. *lol*

Oh those look neat. That was an awesome gift.

That's cool that you lived in Germany for a while. I took German class in high school, so it's one of the places I'd like to visit someday.

It really was an amazing gift!

I took four years of German in high school as well, mostly because I had lived there as a child.

They are! Yeah, you can't find them around here, but I think most other countries have them.
